LA Knight Reacts To US Title Opportunity At WWE SummerSlam

LA Knight Logan Paul WWE Smackdown

LA Knight is getting what he wants at SummerSlam and he has a message for Logan Paul.

There was a contract signing on WWE Smackdown in Omaha although it was different from the normal contract signings. What made it different is that LA Knight had already signed the contract and so did the Smackdown GM Nick Aldis, so the two of them were just waiting for US Champion Logan Paul to sign the contract so he can defend the US Title against Knight at SummerSlam.

This led to a promo exchange in the ring that saw Knight and Paul exchange words. Paul bragged about all of his success in wrestling as well as other ventures in his life while taking a shot at Knight for not being able to win a championship in WWE.

Logan Paul even made a mistake in the promo when he referred to Knight as Shaun (Knight’s real name is Shaun Ricker), but they quickly moved on. Paul even called Knight a ripoff of The Rock, which Knight has heard before.

When LA Knight mentioned that Logan’s boxing brother Jake Paul has more balls than Logan, that led to Logan accepting the match and signing the contract.

After the signing was official, Paul went back into the ring going for a cheap shot but Knight fought back. Knight wanted the BFT, but Paul slipped out of it. Paul bailed to the floor while Knight stood tall in the ring.

LA Knight Focused On Beating Logan Paul In His Hometown

This year’s WWE SummerSlam event will take place in Logan’s hometown of Cleveland on Saturday, August 3rd. This led to LA Knight issuing this statement on Twitter/X about taking the US Title from Paul in his hometown.

Low-T @LoganPaul count your days…Taking it all from you in your hometown is the only moment I’ll ever need. #AndNew#SummerSlam

If Knight beats Paul at SummerSlam it will be the first time that Knight has won a title in WWE.

The next WWE PLE is SummerSlam on August 3rd in Cleveland. The lineup looks like this.

* Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Solo Sikoa

* World Heavyweight Championship: Damian Priest (c) vs. GUNTHER

* Women’s World Championship: Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley

* WWE Women’s Championship: Bayley (c) vs. Nia Jax
