Why LA Knight Believes He Could Get “Politicked” Out Of WWE Spot
After months of struggling, LA Knight is back in the spotlight.
Fans witnessed as the 42-year-old superstar come close to important milestones, only for them to be snatched away with reckless bookings.
The WWE Universe banded together after Knight failed to win the Money in the Bank ladder match, resulting in #WeWantLAKnight to trend on X.
Subsequently, he lost in the first round of the King of the Ring Tournament, dashing all hopes of contesting for a major title.
Nevertheless, the Megastar seems to have found his footing after directly going for the head of the snake.
Over the last few weeks, Knight has traded blows with Seth Rollins’ faction without getting his hands on ‘The Visionary.’
But that has now changed, as he will face Rollins in a singles match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12.
Knight has now gotten the best of Rollins on two consecutive weeks, attacking him on both occasions when the opportunity presented itself.
LA Knight Talks About The Possibility Of Getting Politicked
Despite not winning any major championship, LA Knight remains a fan favorite going into his match against Seth Rollins.
He appeared on the latest WWE RAW Recap episode and admitted in character that he could get politicked out of his spot because he is seen as a threat.
You wanna talk about overlooked or underestimated or anything… I don’t know if I’m underestimated, I’m seen as the threat that I am. Whether that means somehow I get politicked or anything else out of my spot, maybe that’s what it is. Maybe there’s a bit of fear—I think I struck fear into people around here. But I don’t know, it’s not so much overlooked, we’ll just say maybe not brought to my fullest potential, if you will. But that’s coming. [H/T: Ringside News]
Securing a victory over the Visionary could provide a major boost for the Megastar in the coming weeks.
