LA Knight Expected To Receive “Megapush” In WWE

LA Knight

LA Knight looks to become a more prominent feature on the WWE roster.

As reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Knight is expected to receive a “megapush” following the success of his merchandise sales and the high ratings that his segments obtain. It is stated that the company have been hesitant to pull the trigger on stars with strong crowd reactions in the past as they are hesitant that it may be “a fad.” However, due to Knight having strong numbers across all areas, WWE is confident that giving Knight more airtime will pay off in the long run.

It had been previously reported that the company wanted to wait to pull the trigger on Knight as they wanted to lock him into a more long-term deal. Fightful Select reports that Knight’s deal expires in late 2024 to early 2025. However, PWInsider believes that The Megastar is either very close to signing a significant extension or that the deal is already done and that Knight will be presented as the top babyface on SmackDown.

LA Knight Looks To What Is Next Following Victory Over The Miz

The start of the push for Knight may begin on the September 8th episode of SmackDown as this will be the first episode of the blue brand since Payback. At the Premium Live Event, LA Knight would defeat The Miz in a match that also saw John Cena provide the role of guest referee.

Miz believed that Knight is nothing more than a trend that will fizzle out, while Knight believes that he is here for the long term. Knight would be victorious in the encounter and received an endorsement from Cena following the victory.
