LA Knight was notably absent from this year’s SummerSlam match card, despite the event being billed as WWE’s biggest party of the summer.

Hosted over two nights at the iconic MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, WWE SummerSlam delivered a spectacle full of shocking title changes, electrifying moments, surprise Money in the Bank cash-in, and unforgettable returns. While many top WWE superstars featured prominently, LA Knight’s omission did not go unnoticed by fans or the man himself.

LA Knight Wants a Main Event Push in WWE

In the days leading up to last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, The Megastar posted a promotional ad for Slim Jim on his Instagram. The post quickly became a lightning rod for discussion, with thousands of fans flooding the comments voicing their disappointment over his absence from SummerSlam.

Many passionately argued that Knight deserved a prime spot on the card, with some even going so far as to tag Triple H directly, urging WWE’s Chief Content Officer to give Knight a much-deserved main event push.

One particular comment stood out above the rest. A fan tagged Triple H, suggesting that WWE either elevate Knight to the main event scene or “let him go” so that he could shine somewhere else.
