LA Knight Vows To Bounce Back After WWE Crown Jewel Botch

LA Knight WWE

LA Knight is still the champion, but he leaves Saudi Arabia frustrated.

Going back to July, Andrade and Carmelo Hayes have been competing in a best-of-seven series with the winner slated to get a shot at LA Knight and the United States Title.

However, the deciding match ended in a no-contest when Knight — who was serving as the referee, attacked both men. General Manager Nick Aldis then announced a Triple Threat Match at Crown Jewel.

When all was said and done in Saudi Arabia, Knight walked away with the title after hitting the BFT on Hayes as the star tried to hit a facebuster on Andrade.

LA Knight Getting Back To Work

During the Crown Jewel post-show, Knight was asked by Big E about an unfortunate moment in the match where he slipped on the top turnbuckle, although did manage to recover and hit a German Suplex on Andrade.

Knight said he won’t be whining or complaining about the slip, instead, he’s getting back the ring in training to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

“Thankfully, it was more inner-thigh that caught that. What’s crazy is, I overshot the hell out of that. You see my heel slip, bop, there it went. That stuff happens.

Instead of me whining, crying, complaining about it. You know what’s going to happen? Instead of celebrating, probably for the next three or four days, I’m going to be in a ring and I’m going to be doing three to five sets of ten and hitting that thing over and over again.

I’m a little hot about it when I think about it. At the same time, recovery, ended up working out. At the end of the day, still walking out with my United States Champion,”

LA Knight has been the United States Champion since beating Logan Paul at SummerSlam.
