Kyle Fletcher Confronted By Missing AEW Star

Kyle Fletcher AEW

After turning his back on Will Ospreay, Kyle Fletcher has been confronted with another face from his past on AEW Dynamite.

At WrestleDream, Will Ospreay put his AEW International Title on the line against both Ricochet and Konosuke Takeshita after Takeshita put a stop to Ospreay’s one-on-one match with Ricochet previously.

The story of the three-way match saw Ospreay and Ricochet going to increasingly acrobatic lengths to try and outdo each other while Takeshita used his power advantage to try and destroy the pair.

As the bout fled towards a conclusion, Takeshita sent Ricochet smashing through a table, before being hit by a Hidden Blade from Ospreay. Although he kicked out, he was hit again, only for Callis to grab the referee. Callis tried to hit Ospreay with a screwdriver, but it was blocked, and Ospreay teased hitting a Tiger Driver.

However, with Callis in position, Ospreay was attacked from behind with a screwdriver by Kyle Fletcher allowing Takeshita to grab the win and the title. After the match, Fletcher hit Ospreay with a Tiger Driver 93.

Since then Kyle Fletcher has gone to great lengths to prove he is nothing like his old United Empire partner as he shaved his own head. But now, someone close to Fletcher has returned to AEW to question what his new attitude is all about.

Kyle Fletcher Sends Warning To Aussie Open Partner

On Fright Night Dynamite, Kyle Fletcher was joined by Don Callis when his old Aussie Open partner Mark Davis made his shock return to AEW. Davis has not been seen in over a year since badly breaking his wrist when Aussie Open lost to FTR at 2023’s WrestleDream.

Fletcher was surprised to see his partner but happy nonetheless, however, the mood soon changed when Davis took him to task for turning his back on Will Ospreay and destroying the United Empire. Kyle Fletcher remained unapologetic and warned that Davis will soon have a choice to make and he has no problem cutting the past loose.
