Kurt Angle Addresses Possible Raw 30th Anniversary Appearance

Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle hopes to be part of a very historic episode of RAW.

The fourth RAW of this month lands on January 23rd, which will mark the 30th anniversary of RAW making its debut as a weekly program. And just like in the past when special anniversaries came up, WWE has big plans to commemorate this event.

One person that hopes to be part of those plans is WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle. After celebrating his birthday on SmackDown back on December 9th, Angle appears to be in a celebratory mood. Speaking on the A2theK Wrestling Show, Kurt Angle discussed his possible role on that show

“I know they’re having a Raw 30th anniversary at the end of January here. They are thinking about bringing some WWE legends back for that. I know I was in the conversation, not saying I’m going to be there, but it’s possible.”

Kurt Angle has been in the wrestling news bubble quite a lot lately. He gave an update on how he’s feeling as he rehabs his body following double knee surgery, he explained why he’s unlikely to ever sign with AEW, and he revealed that, while it’s extremely unlikely that he’ll ever return to the ring due to his physical condition, he did reveal that in a theoretical return match he’d prefer to wrestle either AJ Styles, Ricochet, or Braun Strowman.
