Kurt Angle Names His Top 2 Dream Opponents

Kurt Angle smiles at the crowd

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has named the two men above all others that he wishes he could have stepped in the ring with during his career.

Kurt Angle’s list of opponents over his legendary career reads like a who’s who of pro wrestling’s biggest icons. Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Sting, Ric Flair, Triple H, The Rock, Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, and Eddie Guerrero all did battle with Kurt Angle during his time in WWE and TNA.

Speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, the Olympic gold medallist named two men that he wished he could have locked up with, naming one star who is still competing in AEW:

“Oh, yeah. Daniel Bryan [Bryan Danielson], he’s one of my top three wrestlers that I wish I would have been able to face before I retired. You know, Bret Hart is one of them. Daniel Bryan’s the other. [As for another dream opponent], I’m leaving it open because there are so many other great talents. He’s actually my top two. He’s actually the second person behind Bret Hart that I always wanted to wrestle, but never could.”

While Kurt Angle may have stepped away from the ring, it appears Bryan Danielson also has the future on his mind as he says his own full-time in-ring days are numbered.
