Professional wrestlers love doing things to make eachother laugh, which is why Kurt Angle has admitted kissing one of his toughest opponents on the lips just to get a laugh out of him.

When you think of Kurt Angle and The Undertaker, they of the most successful, well-known and often times serious wrestlers in the history of the business. When it comes to The Undertaker especially, there are many stories about other wrestlers trying to make him break character especially since he portrayed the “Deadman” gimmick for the majority of his 30-year run in WWE.

In Angle’s case, he certainly had a goofy side to his WWE persona, especially in the early days when he did a lot of comedy skits with Edge & Christian while he had some memorable funny segments with Steve Austin as well. Everybody remembers the tiny cowboy hats, right?

Kurt Angle and The Undertaker had a lot of history together in the ring with several matches taking place in 2000 (Angle’s first full year on the roster). There was also the memorable triple threat match also featuring The Rock at Vengeance 2002 which is remembered as one of the best triple threat matches in WWE history. They also had a classic World Heavyweight Title match at No Way Out 2006 as well.

On a recent episode of his “Kurt Angle Show” podcast, the Olympic Gold Medalist recalled doing something really over the top to try to get The Undertaker to laugh.

“I got the Undertaker one night, we were over in Japan and we ended up having this match. Afterward, you know, him and I shook hands and then I gave him like, ‘Let’s hug,’ we went to hug, and I kissed him on the lips. He was so freaking mad. He’s like, ‘It’s a long plane ride home, Angle,’ that’s what he said to me. But I kissed him right on the lips. The only time I ever heard him laugh.”
