Why Did Kurt Angle Just Call Out The Undertaker
Kurt Angle looked back at The Undertaker’s advice to him.
Kurt Angle and The Undertaker have had a storied rivalry on WWE TV. Now, they’re both Hall Of Famers and make rare appearances on WWE’s weekly shows. The Olympic Gold Medalist recalled a piece of advice The Phenom gave him and called it full of sh*t.
Kurt Angle was in conversation with Inside The Ropes. During the appearance, Angle spoke about one of the most memorable pieces of advice The Undertaker gave him. He recalled Taker telling him that he doesn’t like pranks. But Angle said that he didn’t take that advice because Taker was one of the biggest pranksters backstage.
“‘Kid, I don’t rib, and I don’t like to be ribbed’. But that mother**r ribs people! He’s full of sh*t! He just doesn’t like to be ribbed. And if you rib him, you’re in for it. He’s going to beat the sh*t out of you. With me, Undertaker respected me right away. I think it’s because of my credentials—winning the Olympic gold medal with a broken freaking neck. But I also had a good attitude coming in. I was very pleasant, I was very modest, and I took everything with a grain of salt. I was very agreeable with everybody, so I made it easy for people to like me.” [H/T Rinside News]
