Kurt Angle Gives Positive Health Update Following Recent Back Surgery
The legendary Kurt Angle had a positive update about a recent surgery he had to fix some back pain.
During his incredible pro wrestling career that saw him end up in the WWE and TNA/Impact Hall of Fames, the great Kurt Angle dealt with his fair share of injuries.
As most wrestling fans know, Angle’s injuries started before he was even a pro wrestler because won the Olympic gold medal in freestyle wrestling in 1996 with a “broken freakin’ neck.” Those neck injuries would continue during his pro wrestling career as well leading to extended absences and surgeries.
Since he retired as a wrestler, Angle had double knee surgery to relieve some pain he was dealing with for a long time.
During the most recent episode of the Kurt Angle Show podcast that premiered on AdfreeShows.com, Angle spoke about his most recent surgery, this time for his back.
“I think it actually worked. I don’t know yet, but I don’t have the pain going down my legs, so the operation definitely worked.”
“I’m hoping that the pain in my back will subside, and hopefully it will in the next few days and then I’ll feel really good about it. The doctor did a great job. He really did. I was having problems with my legs and the nerves going down my legs and that’s all gone, so I’m good with that.”
Kurt Angle is appearing at Wrestlecon during WrestleMania 39 weekend in Los Angeles for photos/autographs with plans to attend WrestleMania as well. Whether Angle will appear on camera at WrestleMania is unknown at this time.
