Kofi Kingston Speaks Out After Sick WWE Raw Betrayal

Kofi Kingston has broken his silence on one of the most sickening WWE segments in quite some time as The New Day turned its back on Big E.

Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston have been left to fly the flag for The New Day after Big E suffered a broken neck on SmackDown in 2022 but in recent months Woods and Kingston have been anything but on the same page.

The 2nd of December edition of Raw saw WWE pay tribute to ten years of The New Day with a special celebration. Kingston and Woods, however, did not look ready to celebrate as they teased an announcement before Big E made a surprise return.

Big E noted that he’d seen the arguments and was troubled by them before offering to be The New Day’s manager. If he was expecting a positive reaction from his teammates, however, he could not have been more wrong.

Kofi Kingston Breaks Silence On Big E Betrayal

Woods accused Big E of not being there for them and choosing a desk job and his girlfriend over his old partners. Kingston was equally baffled as he claimed Steve Austin and Kurt Angle had returned after broken necks so why couldn’t he, especially as Big E has not required surgery but still has not been medically cleared to return to the ring?

Xavier Woods then told Big E to stop teasing people and admit he’d never be cleared to return to the ring. Big E refused to let things end like this and offered a hug but both Woods and Kingston wanted no part of it, leaving a stunned Big E to leave the ring, apparently ending his involvement in The New Day for good. Kingston and Woods shook hands after, solidifying that they’ll continue together.

Now Kofi Kingston has taken to social media to repeat his callous message:

While this appears to be the end of the line for the former WWE Champion as part of The New Day, it seems Big E’s time in WWE could also be nearing its end.
