Kofi Kingston Feels Disrespected By WWE
Kofi Kingston wants WWE to show him more respect for what he has accomplished in his career.
The New Day’s Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have spent the two months getting booed heavily by the WWE Universe. That’s because the duo turned heel on their friend Big E when The New Day’s tenth anniversary celebration took place on the December 2nd edition of Raw.
Since that moment, Kofi and Xavier have been disrespected by their fellow WWE superstars backstage and in the ring. As for WWE fans, they have been aggressively booing Kofi and Xavier every time they try to speak or perform in the ring.
Royal Rumble weekend means WWE fans reflecting on memories that they remember fondly. When it comes to eliminations, Kofi Kingston has mastered the art of avoiding elimination by using the steel steps, a handstand, the barricade, a leather chair at ringside, and other methods to avoid elimination
Even though Kofi Kingston has never won a Royal Rumble, he has competed in many of them over the last 15 years and fans are always going to remember those near eliminations.
Kofi Kingston – “The Disrespect Is Unconscionable”
After arriving in Indianapolis for the Royal Rumble, Kofi Kingston posted on Instagram showing that his face was not included with many other WWE superstars on graphics that appear in the city. Kofi is a former WWE Champion and one of the greatest Tag Team Champions in WWE history who also has a lot of memorable WWE moments. Because of that, he wrote about feeling disrespected.
The disrespect is unconscionable.
I don’t care if I haven’t won it. When someone says “Royal Rumble”, you think of me.
I should be on every single #royalrumble ad until the end of time.
And you still don’t understand why we are the way we are…
It is certainly possible that Kofi Kingston was simply continuing his heel act on social media, but the man also has a valid point considering his long history in WWE.
Natalya is another veteran WWE superstar also expressed sadness about the display: “Trust me, I feel it, too. It always hurts my feelings.”
You can watch the WWE Royal Rumble when it streams live on Saturday, February 1, at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT, exclusively on Peacock in the United States and Netflix internationally.
