Knocked Out WWE Star Replaced For Worlds Collide

WWE AAA Worlds Collide

One WWE star who was knocked out in the middle of the ring has now been replaced in their match for the upcoming Worlds Collide show.

The June 2nd edition of Monday Night Raw saw a big night of action take place as the final two WWE stars booked their place in Money In The Bank. Stephanie Vaquer overcame Liv Morgan and Ivy Nile to enter the iconic match for the first time in her career. On the men’s side of the equation, CM Punk and AJ Styles lost out to the masked El Grande Americano.

Before that show went live on Netflix, WWE taped a Speed match between Lexis King and Joaquin Wilde, but unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned. Fan footage posted to social media showed WWE medical staff checking on Wilde in the ring as the match came to a sudden halt.

WWE Confirm Joaquin Wilde’s Replacement

After the bout, Joaquin Wilde confirmed he’d been knocked out cold in the match, and now it seems that means he won’t be a part of Worlds Collide on June 7th.

Wilde had been due to team with Cruz Del Toro and Dragon Lee to take on Aero Star, Octagon Jr., and Mr. Iguana at Worlds Collide, but it was confirmed on NXT that Wilde has been replaced in the bout by Lince Dorado.

The former Lucha House Party star recently had his first WWE TV match in four years and has been coaching at the Performance Center in recent months.
