Kevin Owens Names WWE Star That Brings Out The Best In Him
Kevin Owens is reflecting on his incredible WWE career to name the wrestler that he thinks is the best that he’s been in the ring with.
As a former WWE Universal, Intercontinental, United States and Tag Team Champion, Kevin Owens has done it all in his nearly decade-long ring as part of World Wrestling Entertainment.
At the last two WrestleManias, he was in the main event on WrestleMania Saturday. In 2002, it was a dream match for Owens against his idol Steve Austin. At WrestleMania 39 in LA, Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn beat The Usos to win the WWE Tag Team Titles in an incredible match that was the first the WWE Tag Team Titles main evented a WrestleMania.
During an interview with James Williams on YouTube, Owens was asked about his 20-plus year history with Sami Zayn as an opponent, tag team partner and Zayn’s greatness in general.
“Sami brings out the best in me as an opponent and as a partner. It sounds exaggerated to say this, especially when people will call themselves that and it makes me roll my eyes a lot. Whether people call themselves great or good or even people say ‘I’m good at this. I’m great at that. I’m the best in the world.’ ‘Okay.’”
“Sami Zayn is probably the best I’ve ever been in the ring with. I don’t think I’m the only one who would say that.”
“As far as the athletic side goes he can do it all. From a performance standpoint, from the intensity, the passion he brings, and the connection he has with the audience. Very few people have it all, like he does. I’m very lucky that he happens to be my wrestling brother for the last 20 years or so, maybe more at this point. He influenced me a lot and I got to learn a lot from him.”

Who Did Kevin Owens Defeat On WWE SmackDown In Brooklyn?
On WWE SmackDown in Brooklyn, Kevin Owens was in action against Grayson Waller. Prior to the match, Owens cut off the United States Champion Logan Paul during an interview, which teased a future rivalry between them. After he was done talking to Paul, Owens beat Waller with a rollup using his left hand since Waller attacked the right hand throughout the match.
It was also announced that Owens will be part of an 8-man tournament to determine the number one contender for the United States Title held by Logan Paul. Owens will be a part of it along with Santos Escobar, Dragon Lee, Karrion Kross, Bobby Lashley, Grayson Waller, Austin Theory, and an NXT Superstar.
