Identity Of Kevin Owens’ WWE SmackDown Tag Team Partner Revealed
Kevin Owens promised a mystery partner on WWE SmackDown but it seems his backup was a mystery even to him.
Kevin Owens was set for a big tag team match on the first edition of SmackDown back on the USA Network as he was set to team up with an unannounced partner to face Grayson Waller and Austin Theory.
The real surprise came when Owens took to the ring with a completely unknown wrestler to take on A-Town Down Under. Kevin Owens admitted that the man who called himself Ricky was not his first choice but his original partner couldn’t make it due to travel issues.
However, just before the bell rang a member of WWE’s production team told Owens that “he’s here” and with Owens’ real tag team partner on the scene, he immediately dropped Ricky with a stunner.

Randy Orton then made his way to the ring to team with Kevin Owens as they picked up the victory over Waller and Theory.
Who Was Kevin Owens’ Partner Ricky?
Ricky is 19-year independent veteran Ricky Gibson who wrestles as one half of the Midnight Heat tag team with Eddie Pearl.
The Portland, Oregon native will be in action with former AEW Tag Team Champions FTR on September 29th as Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler make their debut for Prestige Wrestling.
