Kevin Owens Has Valid Reasons For Unique WWE Interviews

Kevin Owens Talk WWE

Kevin Owens likes doing promos on WWE in a way that is different from what other people do and he has his reasons for it.

Fans of WWE are used to wrestlers doing interviews in the backstage area, in the ring, or somewhere in the arena, but not everybody does it that way.

On the December 6th edition of WWE SmackDown, Kevin Owens was interviewed by Michael Cole in a car in the parking lot. Owens explained that when he had been in the arena recently he had been told to leave, so he was doing a counterstrike by making Cole interview Owens in KO’s rental car.

The interview between Owens and Cole saw Owens try to explain his side of the story involving his issues with WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. When Cole tried to retort, an angry Owens made Cole exit the vehicle, which led to Owens leaving. Owens ended up returning to the show to fight with Cody.

Those comments from the car are nothing new for Owens, who enjoys sharing his thoughts while sitting in the driver’s seat of the car.

Kevin Owens told The Takedown on Sports Illustrated that he has several reasons why he does those promos from the car.

“I can’t do it from the house. I have five dogs. I have six cats. I have two kids. It’s not happening in there. There’s too much noise. So I do it from my car. And it’s very hard for some people to accept. It used to be a thing where I just did it because it was easier.

Now I’ve seen so many people take offense to it, that now I’m never not doing it from a car just to spite them.”

“I Don’t Have This Little Shrine To Myself In My House” – Kevin Owens

The former WWE Unviersal Champion Kevin Owens went on to talk about how he doesn’t have an office in his house to pay tribute to his pro wrestling accomplishments.

“I don’t have a little office dedicated to my career with my little frames and title belts behind me. I’m not that kind of psycho. I have nothing in my house that has me in it. The only things that I have are there because of my wife and I don’t like it. I don’t want the frames and all that, but it’s fine. She’ll have that.

I don’t have this little shrine to myself in my house that I can have in the background. So this is my car, you know what I mean? This is what I do.”

At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14th, Kevin Owens will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Title in what will likely be the main event of the show.
