Kevin Owens Upset With Cody Rhodes For Unusual Reason

Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes has taken an interesting jab at Kevin Owens.

Despite previously standing side by side to battle The Bloodline, Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes are now very much at odds.

In the hours after Bad Blood went off the air, Owens attacked Rhodes in the parking lot sparking chaos within the company. He then repeatedly assaulted Randy Orton, eventually putting the legend out of action with a Piledriver.

On the November 22nd edition of the blue brand, Owens and Rhodes again came face to face, with KO telling his rival his recent actions were his fault. Owens reasoned that Rhodes had turned his back on everything he’d done for two years by teaming with Roman Reigns.

The pair then agreed to a match, and it was later announced for Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14th.

Cody Rhodes Takes At Kevin Owens’ Manhood

During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Rhodes discussed the importance of Saturday Night’s Main Event and his rivalry with Owens.

The American Nightmare suggested that Owens is intimidated by him wearing suits because he’s insecure about his own “manhood.”

The Tonight Show with Jimmy Falon“I’ll tell you a story. I started wearing suits all the time. It was around 2015. It just became this thing. I wanted to represent wrestling and sports entertainment in a different way. So always suits, always customs. I didn’t feel pretentious about it. I wasn’t holding it over anybody. I just wanted to feel that. How I looked, right?

Well, I have said in the past that there are men in the wrestling game intimidated by the whole suit thing. Typically what I’ll say is ‘I think they have an issue with their manhood.’ If you know…I don’t want to use any crass language here. It is late night. It’s Thanksgiving.

Yeah. I don’t want to say the word, you know….Penis. But no one has been more frustrated and upset with the fact that I wear suits than Kevin Owens. So make your own assumptions there as to what that means. That is my opponent for Saturday Night’s Main Event.”

Elsewhere at the event, WWE will crown its first-ever Women’s United States Champion. It’s also been reported that two WWE Hall of Famers will appear at the special with the company looking to give the show an an old-school feel.

Saturday Night’s Main Event launched in 1985 before being retired in 1993. It returned in 2006, but amid falling ratings and interest, was scrapped again in 2008.
