Kevin Owens Has Unique Name For Current Version Of WWE’s The Bloodline

Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens has been fighting against The Bloodline for a long time and that’s why he has a different name for the group that appears to be led by Solo Sikoa.

When it comes to fighting against the WWE stable known as The Bloodline, Kevin Owens knows what he is talking about. After all, the former Universal Champion faced off against “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns many times over the last four years. They had multiple matches together and were even in the first WarGames match on the main roster on opposite teams.

At WrestleMania 39 in 2023, Kevin Owens headlined that event with Sami Zayn as a tag team that ended The Usos (who were part of The Bloodline) record-long reign as WWE Tag Team Champions.

A lot has changed with The Bloodline since WrestleMania 40 one month ago. Solo Sikoa brought in Tama Tonga and together they took out Solo’s brother Jimmy Uso. At Backlash France, a debuting Tonga Loa (who is Tama Tonga’s brother) cost Kevin Owens & Randy Orton their Street Fight match against Solo & Tama.

During an appearance on WWE’s The Bump, Kevin Owens admitted he was tired of facing The Bloodline.

“I’m just getting real tired of these guys. [There’s] seemingly an endless amount of Bloodline-adjacent people. I’m pretty sure they’re not actually related. But yeah, I don’t know. I keep hearing rumblings that there’s a lot more.”

“Look, I’ve been dealing with The Bloodline for about four years now. I’m still reeling from Saturday night, to be honest, and I don’t know. It was an incredible night, and it ended in a way that really pissed me off. I don’t know how else to put it. It’s a problem that keeps growing, and I have to put an end to this eventually because it’s been four years, like I said.”

Kevin Owens Feels Like This Is The Bootleg Bloodline

As he continued to voice his frustrations with this current edition of The Bloodline, Owens dubbed them the “bootleg Bloodline.” It’s a reference to how an illegal or fake edition of a movie might be called a bootleg edition rather than the real thing.

“Yeah, well, it’s a bootleg Bloodline. No matter what’s happened between me and Roman Reigns and The Usos and everything, I have an incredible amount of respect for those guys because they’ve been on the road. They’ve done everything we’ve done, I’ve been all over the world with them.”

“Tama Tonga, I don’t know him. I know he’s been wrestling for a long time, but I have no idea. Up until he showed up until a few weeks ago, I’d never met the guy. I’d never been around him. I don’t know.”

“To come in the way they did, just a real coward’s way. I don’t know, even Solo, he’s been around for a few years, nothing like The Usos, nothing like Roman. I don’t respect this Bloodline. I don’t.”

Owens also talked about slamming Tama Tonga onto a pile of chairs in the Backlash match while making it clear that it’s not over with The Bloodline.

“I think that’s, ‘Welcome to WWE. Welcome to being in the ring with Kevin Owens and Randy Orton.’ There’s a lot more where that came from. Look, I’m obviously not done with The Bloodline, and this is one of many very bad things that are going to happen to Tama Tonga.”

The next edition of WWE SmackDown takes place on May 10th from Wilkes-Barre, PA where Owens & Orton will try to get some revenge against The Bloodline.
