Kevin Owens Has Interesting Theory On Survivor Series Omission

Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens is wondering why he didn’t wrestle at Survivor Series.

Survivor Series 2024 was another huge night for WWE, but one of the company’s biggest names wasn’t involved.

In the main event, Roman Reigns teamed with CM Punk, Sami Zayn, and The Usos to score a WarGames win over Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Jacob Fatu, and Bronson Reed — even if Reigns and Punk weren’t too impressed with the involvement of the other. The victory also came at a cost for Jimmy Uso and Bronson Reed who suffered legitimate injuries.

Despite the star-studded main event, and Gunther’s defence of the World Heavyweight Title, fans were quick to notice that two big names were missing. While Cody Rhodes missed the show, his next challenger Kevin Owens was also absent, despite the event being in his home nation of Canada.

One fan on social media suggested Owens had been kept away because WWE didn’t want him to get a positive reaction given his heel turn. KO picked up on the post and tagged WWE management to ask if this really was the reason.

In another response, Owens wrote “Doesn’t matter. The entire world knows I’m right.”

Kevin Owens Getting Shot At Cody Rhodes

While it might not have happened at Survivor Series, Kevin Owens is set to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

The tension between the pair goes back to Bad Blood when Owens attacked Rhodes in the parking lot.

Owens then repeatedly assaulted Randy Orton, eventually putting the legend out of action with a Piledriver.

On the November 22nd edition of the blue brand, Owens and Rhodes again came face to face, with KO telling his rival his recent actions were his fault. Owens reasoned that Rhodes had turned his back on everything he’d done for two years by teaming with Roman Reigns.
