When Cody Rhodes was granted his release from WWE in 2016, he created a list of wrestlers he wanted to face. This created a massive hyped among fans regarding which matches would materialize.

Before 2016, Rhodes was working as a mid-card wrestler in WWE. He had grown tired of the situation and looked into being released.

He released the list on his social media six days after being released on May 22nd, 2016.

Cody Rhodes revealed the name Kevin Owens did not want on his list

Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes share a close friendship, and The Prizfighter helped Rhodes make the list. One of the names that KO was unsure of was Moose.

Cody Rhodes and Moose did have a rivalry in Impact Wrestling in 2017. He called out the pro-wrestler for helping his wife, Brandi Rhodes, when he was away. He attacked Moose, marking his heel turn.

The duo had an Impact Grand Championship match, which Rhodes lost. His contract expired soon afterwards.
