Kevin Owens Says Doctors Warned Him He Might Die

Kevin Owens WWE Injury

Kevin Owens’ time away from WWE, unfortunately, does not bring good news.

A couple of weeks before WrestleMania 41, the Prizefighter was forced to relinquish his spot in the match against Randy Orton due to an injury.

On the 4th April episode of SmackDown, he announced that he would have to undergo surgery, casting doubt on his future with the company.

During his hiatus, multiple conflicting reports have emerged about Owens’ surgery.

The former WWE Universal Champion recently appeared on What Do You Wanna Talk About? With Cody Rhodes, and said that his surgery is set for mid-July.

Owens also detailed the extent of his injury, claiming that it worried the doctors.

We had the MRI, and they were like, ‘You can’t even get hit, don’t even get hit, cause you might die.’

Kevin Owens started wrestling professionally at the age of 16. Throughout his 25-year career, the former WWE United States Champion has suffered numerous injuries.
