Kevin Owens Is Emotional About Facing Randy Orton At WWE Crown Jewel
The friendship between Kevin Owens and Randy Orton is over.
The tag team of Kevin Owens and Randy Orton was popular with WWE fans because they are two former WWE Champions who had earned the respect of the fans. The duo also teamed with WWE Champion Cody Rhodes a lot as well.
Randy Orton has been a key figure in WWE for over two decades while Kevin Owens has had an impressive run over his decade in WWE, which has included back-to-back WrestleMania main event matches.
After Kevin Owens attacked Cody Rhodes following the WWE Bad Blood PLE, it was back to his old ways for KO. When Owens tried to explain himself, he was accidentally punched by his friend Orton. This also led to Owens attacking Orton while in a parking lot.
That attack by Owens infuriated Orton, who basically had to beg WWE’s CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque on Smackdown to put him in a match with Owens. Triple H warned Orton about it because of how dangerous Owens is, but Triple H ultimately gave Orton what he wanted because Owens will face Orton at WWE Crown Jewel.
Kevin Owens To Randy Orton: “I Loved You”
At the WWE Crown Jewel Kickoff show, Kevin Owens confronted Randy Orton and Owens admitted he had a lot of love for the man they call the Viper.
“You know, Randy, the only voices in your head, what they should be saying is that you’re a disgusting human being. You should be ashamed of yourself. You think these people love you? I loved you. I would have never done what you did to me, to you. I thought what we had was real special, and on Saturday night, I’m putting down RKO for good.”
