Kevin Owens Criticised Following WWE Bash In Berlin
Kevin Owens performance at WWE Bash In Berlin has been slammed by Bronson Reed.
The Canadian Superstar was handed an opportunity to dethrone WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at the first ever Premium Live Event to be hosted in Germany after being handpicked by ‘The American Nightmare’ himself.
In the lead up to the bout, Owens revealed that he was aware that Rhodes had suffered a knee injury during the European tour but the 40 year-old seemed reluctant to take advantage during the bout with many, including commentator Wade Barrett, critical of Owens for a lack of killer instinct.
Another man to hammer Owens for failing to capitalise on Rhodes’ weakness was Raw Superstar, Bronson Reed. The massive Australian took to social media site X to suggest that he would have taken a very different approach to the bout:
“Man, I would have ripped that knee cap off of the bone! #WWEBash”
Kevin Owens Wants One Final Bout With John Cena
Kevin Owens is keen to battle John Cena one last time during his retirement tour and believes he has the perfect date in mind.
Owens battled Cena during his main roster debut in May 2015, scoring a shock win over the then-United States Champion in a non-title bout at Elimination Chamber.
With the legendary Superstar’s career set to draw to a close at the end of 2025, Owens believes a tenth anniversary bout should form part of Cena’s final run.
