Kevin Owens Not Thrilled By Cody Rhodes Surprising Tag Team

Kevin Owens has teased going back to his old ways as he is forced to accept Cody Rhodes teaming with his old rival Roman Reigns.

Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will put their past behind them to team up at WWE Bad Blood as they face Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Rhodes was the man who defeated Reigns for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 40 and was also the man who warned Reigns that one day he’d be a chief without a tribe – a position he now finds himself in.

On SmackDown in Sacramento, a video aired of Cody Rhodes meeting Roman Reigns in the middle of the Georgia Tech football field as they looked to get the measure of each other one week after signing a contract to team up.

Their alliance could best be described as shaky at best with Reigns threatening to take back the WWE Title when all was said and done with Rhodes cautioning him that it was not his to take.

But what does Cody Rhodes’ recent partner and long-time Bloodline hater Kevin Owens make of it all?

Kevin Owens Unsure About Cody Rhodes’ Decision

Kevin Owens refused to give his thoughts when asked about Rhodes’ decision to team with Reigns before he was in action against The Bloodline in a six-man tag team match. Owens was originally set to be teaming with DIY but The Bloodline took them out before the bout leaving The Street Profits to come to Owens’ aid.

Kevin Owens and The Street Profits were later joined by DIY to fend off Tonga Loa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu but it wasn’t until a chair-toting Cody Rhodes arrived that The Bloodline was forced to back off.

Rhodes and Owens exchanged a tense moment before Kevin Owens ultimately shook Rhodes’ hand. But with a history of turning his back on friends, it’s no wonder that many believe Rhodes’ decision to team with Roman Reigns – a man who made Kevin Owens’ life hell – will come back to bite him.
