Kevin Owens Blasts WWE Fan For Disrespectful Comment
Kevin Owens was not happy after he heard a WWE fan say something hurtful.
It was an emotional night on WWE SmackDown in Chicago for numerous reasons, including when Kevin Owens informed the audience that he would no longer be competing at WrestleMania 41 due to injury.
The Kevin Owens-Randy Orton match at WrestleMania 41 was going to be an intense showdown between two WWE legends, but it’s not happening anymore. That’s because Owens needs neck surgery and will likely get it soon. That also means Owens will be on the shelf for a long time, perhaps up to one year or even longer. The length of his absence will be determined at a later date.
At the end of his promo, Owens thanked WWE for allowing him to tell us about his injury because he doesn’t know when he’ll be in front of us again. Owens said that in the last few years, he’s learned to never take anything for granted, and he’ll never take this for granted. Owens sadly said, “I’m sorry, guys. Thank you.” Owens shook hands with SmackDown GM Nick Aldis and hugged him. That’s when Randy Orton showed up, but Owens left rather than deal with a confrontation.
As Owens was making his way backstage, he was shown moving toward a fan in the crowd, but the camera cut away at that point and focused on Orton.
In a video posted by a fan on social media, a bald male fan shouted: “You’re still s**t” at Owens as he was walking to the back. Owens heard it, got in the fan’s face and said: “Shut the f**k up you little bi**h.”
While Owens said that to the fan, the fan responded by saying, “I thought it was a storyline.” When Owens walked away, he may have used another expletive toward the fan.

Kevin Owens Suffered Neck Injury During A Regular Match
In an interview that Kevin Owens did before his SmackDown promo announcing his injury news, Owens talked to My Mom’s Basement with Robbie Fox about his injury.
“So I know for a fact there’s a specific moment [the injury occurred] because in December, I did a full body MRI just on my own for curiosity just to see if there’s anything I should be aware of. You can see if you have issues with your bone structure or organs or anything like that. At the time the report came back that my knees were s**t but I’ve been well aware of that for a long time so there’s no concern there.
And there was something about my spine, mild to moderate stenosis, and I showed it to WWE doctors and they’re like, ‘Yeah, for what you guys do everyone’s got a level of stenosis. Everyone on Earth walking around has a level of stenosis, but your spine and neck and everything else looks good. Everything looks good for what you’ve been doing. You’re fine’. I was like, ‘Great’ and I felt great.
But then in January I had a match and in the match I had two things happen that really jarred my neck and that’s when the issues started so I knew there was something. And then we ended up doing an MRI this week and found out that it’s serious. So I think that match in January is what did it because I had an MRI the month before that and everything looked fine.”
Kevin Owens went on to say that he didn’t think his violent matches at the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber played a major factor in why he needs neck surgery.
