Kevin Nash Reveals His Favorite Version Of Fellow WWE Hall Of Famer Kane
WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash shared his thoughts on the evolution of Kane’s iconic character, revealing his favourite iteration of the “Big Red Machine.”
Speaking on his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash pointed to the late-1999 version of Kane as a standout, particularly when the character used a voice box to speak and briefly joined D-Generation-X.
When Kane was talking through that voice box and he said a few things, I think that was such an over Kane, and that’s by far my favourite edition of Glenn was when he shot the fu**ing lightning or thunder out of his hands.
This version of Kane combined elements of menace and mystique with new layers of personality, thanks to the addition of the voice box and his supernatural powers. For Nash, these features elevated Kane’s character during this period, making him one of the most memorable personas in wrestling. Nash also reflected on how giving Kane a voice transformed his character, showing a different side of Glenn Jacobs, the man behind the mask. By speaking, Kane became more relatable and multidimensional, showcasing not only his strength and supernatural flair but also his intelligence and articulate nature.
