Kevin Nash Publicly Thanks Vince McMahon

Kevin Nash is the latest former WWE superstar to thank Vince McMahon following the former Chairman’s retirement from the company.

On 22nd July 2022, an official WWE press release was followed swiftly by a short social media statement from Vince McMahon announcing that he was stepping down from his positions within the company. The news came about whilst McMahon was being investigated for allegations of sexual misconduct with former employees.

The retirement was addressed on that night’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown, with new co-CEO Stephanie McMahon coming to the ring and starting a “thank you Vince” chant.

On a recent edition of his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash has given his personal thanks to Vince McMahon for everything he did for him personally over the years.

To Vince McMahon personally, right now I’m sitting in my ocean front podcast studio, and my son and I will drive 1.6 miles down the beach to our ocean front home, and without you believing in me, I would have none of this. I just wanted to personally say thank you and thank you for what you’ve done for our industry.

I don’t know what the f*ck you’re going to do, man, but if you want to drink some f*cking red or white, I’ll pick you up in the Bronco. You just got to fly your private sh*t down to Daytona, and I’ll meet you.

Triple H has taken over from McMahon as Head Of Creative, and it reported that he quickly changed some of the plans his predecessor had made for SummerSlam.
