KENTA Reacts To AEW All Out – “F**k You CM Punk”

The AEW debut of CM Punk at All Out led to a lot of excitement from wrestling, but one man that isn’t thrilled about it is NJPW’s KENTA.

CM Punk debuted in AEW on the August 20 edition of Rampage in Chicago. Following his return, there was a lot of anticipation for his first match in seven years at All Out.

Last night at All Out, Punk had an even matchup with Darby Allin, who took plenty of risks in the match. Punk was able to overcome all of Allin’s fast paced offense and crazy dives. When Punk finally got a hold of Allin on his shoulders, Punk hit his patented finishing move – the Go To Sleep aka GTS.

Even though CM Punk has popularized the GTS over the last 15 years, it was KENTA who created the move and was using it in Japan before CM Punk used it.

Last night on Twitter, KENTA let his feelings known about CM Punk.

Is KENTA working with that tweet or does he genuinely mean what he says? Perhaps only he knows right now.

KENTA has appeared in the AEW ring in the past when he teamed with Kenny Omega to beat the team of Jon Moxley and Lance Archer on Dynamite in February 2021.

As for Moxley, he beat Japanese wrestling legend Satoshi Kojima at All Out. Moxley will then face another big name when he clashes with Minoru Suzuki this Wednesday in Moxley’s hometown of Cincinnati.

There is no word yet on when or if KENTA will compete in an AEW ring again.
