Kenny Omega Facing Winners Of AEW’s Newest Tournament

Kenny Omega

Kenny Omega survived anarchy at Double Or Nothing but now he’ll have to put his AEW title on the line against the winner of a brand new tournament.

Kenny Omega captured the AEW International Championship at Revolution when he defeated Konosuke Takeshita for the gold. In recent weeks, Omega’s title has taken a backseat as he’s become embroiled in the huge feud pitting several AEW stars against the Death Riders and Omega’s old partners, The Young Bucks.

At Double Or Nothing, Kenny Omega helped pick up the win for his team in Anarchy In The Arena as he drove Matt Jackson off the stage through an exploding table.

But now, Omega will have little time to recover as he knows there are plenty of AEW stars coming for his gold.

Six AEW Stars Gunning For Kenny Omega’s Title

Kenny Omega will defend the title in a four-way match at Fyter Fest on June 4, with his three challengers having to come through a tournament that has a truly international flair. Brody King will face Josh Alexander on the May 28 edition of Dynamite. The May 31 edition of Collision will see two tournament matches take place as Switzerland’s Claudio Castagnoli clashes with Mexico’s Komander, and two Mexicans battle it out as Mascara Dorada faces Hechicero.

There is a belief that AEW is considering unifying Omega’s title, pointing to a possible huge match being made for All In Texas.
