Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay are set to share the ring but on the same side as they get ready for a huge match at AEW Grand Slam Australia.

Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay kicked off the January 22 edition of Dynamite with a face-off that ended in a huge brawl. Ospreay pleaded with Omega to help him take out The Don Callis Family so he could then focus his energy on ending the reign of terror of the Death Riders. But Kenny Omega has a long memory.

Omega reminded Ospreay that the last time they shared a ring, the English star plunged a screwdriver into his head. Omega also told Ospreay that now he was back, Ospreay could return to being the number two star in the company as things threatened to break down.

Don Callis made an appearance though and when Omega went to confront him a huge brawl broke out as Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher attacked. A wild brawl ensued with Callis waving out Brian Cage and Lance Archer to help his men. Ospreay landed a huge moonsault off a balcony while Omega nailed one of the lighting rig.

Kenny Omega then apologised to Ospreay and announced that at Grand Slam Australia they would team to take on Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher in a tag team match. Tony Khan later made the match official on social media.

This is the second match announced for the landmark show in Brisbane, Australia. That show will also see Toni Storm challenge Mariah May for the AEW Women’s World Championship.
