Kenny Omega Issues Warning To Will Ospreay Ahead Of All In
Will Opsreay and Kenny Omega tore the house down at Forbidden Door but The Cleaner has warned the new IWGP US Champion things aren’t over.
At Wrestle Kingdom in the Tokyo Dome, Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega did battle as the English star put his IWGP US Title on the line in Omega’s first match in New Japan Pro Wrestling in four years. The bout received critical acclaim becoming the joint second-highest-rated match in the history of Dave Meltzer’s star ratings and at Forbidden Door, the two men looked to do it all over again.
This time Kenny Omega was the champion and not only did he have the dangerous Ospreay to contend with, he had to deal with the treacherous Don Callis at ringside.
For forty minutes both Omega and Ospreay threw everything they had at each other with both men busted open during the course of the match. At one point Callis handed Ospreay a screwdriver which was driven into the head of Kenny Omega but the champion managed to overcome that blow and continue.
At Callis’ behest, Will Ospreay nailed Kenny Omega with a Kamigoye that NJPW fans will recognize as the finisher of Omega’s former tag team partner Kota Ibushi. Ospreay then followed that up with a One-Winged Angel as he sought to end Omega with his own move. To the shock of everyone, Omega powered out of the cover after just a one count after that.

However, in the end, Will Ospreay proved to have just too much for Omega this time around, hitting a Storm Breaker on him to win the match and with it the IWGP United States Championship.
Now Kenny Omega has issued a stark warning for his rival with many expecting them to make their 2023 feud a trilogy at All In in Ospreay’s home country of England. Omega simply told Ospreay “It’s not over. I’ll be back.”
"It's not over. I'll be back."
