Kenny Omega Pictured With Fan As AEW Hiatus Continues
Kenny Omega looks happy and healthy.
Kenny Omega hasn’t wrestled since being diagnosed with diverticulitis in early December 2023, with his last match coming on December 5th. The former AEW World Champion had hoped to avoid surgery, but he eventually went under the knife in May after making two appearances on Dynamite.
However, it’s been widely reported that Omega is determined to resume his career, and he’s begun working to that end.
As his recovery continues a fan has shared a photo on social media with Omega which you can see below.

Kenny Omega Training For AEW Return
Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Kenny Omega is training at a “moderate intensity” as he bids to resume his career. The report added that although Omega is unable to take any bumps in the ring, he’s working out regularly as he looks to make a comeback.
Despite the positive steps, there remains no timetable for a return.
Had Omega not been struck down by his health issues he had been scheduled to face Kazuchika Okada at All In at Wembley Stadium.
