Kenny Omega And Kazuchika Okada To Square Off On AEW Dynamite
Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada will square off for the first time in almost 8 years on the 30th April edition of Dynamite.
The two top stars enjoyed a storied rivalry in New Japan Pro Wrestling during 2017 and 2018, competing in four classic bouts seeing the feud often compared to the legendary Flair/Steamboat rivalry of the 1980s.
The duo last stood across the ring from each other at NJPW Dominion 6.9 in June 2018, with Omega defeating Okada in a two-out-of-three-falls thriller to lift the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.
Omega and Okada will once again do battle on the 30th April after Tony Khan announced a monumental eight man tag team bout for Dynamite.
Kenny Omega is set to join forces with Mark Briscoe, ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey, and Kevin Knight to face off with Kazuchika Okada, the Young Bucks, and Ricochet in a highly anticipated contest.
Kenny Omega Named Top In-Ring Star By Legendary AEW Name
Jim Ross has named Kenny Omega as AEW’s top in-ring talent.
The veteran announcer recently listed the AEW Vice President as his favourite current star, praising his ability to lift the level of any wrestler he goes up against.
