Kenny Omega Helps Out WWE Hall Of Famer With Serious Illness

Kenny Omega

A WWE Hall of Famer has credited Kenny Omega for helping him after a recent surgery.

Kenny Omega returned to action at Wrestle Dynasty after over a year out of action as he recovered from surgery for a life-threatening bout of diverticulitis. Now, WWE Hall of Famer X-Pac has revealed that The Cleaner helped him through his own battle with the illness.

Speaking to Denise Salcedo, the former European Champion explained that he was hospitalised with the condition for eight days earlier in 2024 and lost 30 lbs. Fortunately, he says he is “doing great now,” but admitted he had a rough time.

During his time in hospital, X-Pac was in contact with Omega, who prepared him for what he could expect.

“He helped me with it. Yeah, I was in the hospital texting with him and he’s telling me what’s going on and what I should expect and everything.”

Kenny Omega Was “A Day Or Two From Dying”

According to a recent report, Kenny Omega was lucky to survive his battle with diverticulitis. The Best Bout Machine was said to have had two feet of intestine removed during his surgery, but fortunately was able to recover and come back for a “phenomenal match” with NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion Gabe Kidd at Wrestle Dynasty.

Omega will return to AEW on the January 8th edition of Dynamite, and he has put the locker room on notice, promising to retake his position as the “God of professional wrestling.”
