Kendal Grey Stands Tall Ahead Of NXT New Year’s Evil
The WWE Evolve Women’s Champion, Kendal Grey, made a huge mark on the NXT women’s division after she became the Women’s Iron Survivor at NXT Deadline earlier this year.
She defeated other established NXT stars like Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan, Jordynn Grace, and Sol Ruca. Following her win, she earned a shot at Jacy Jayne’s NXT Women’s Championship at next week’s New Year’s Evil.
Since then, she has been a target for Fatal Influence and was taken out by the group as the episode started. However, it was Grey who ended the night standing tall, though.
Jacy Jayne wins against Wren Sinclair on WWE NXT
As tensions between Fatal Influence, Kendal Grey, and Wren Sinclair escalated over the last few weeks, Jayne challenged Sinclair to a match for tonight’s show.
She was forced to come alone to the show, and the numbers advantage proved too much for her. Jayne won the match, and all three members of Fatal Influence started attacking Sinclair.

She would then be rescued by Grey, who returned to the ring despite being taken out by Fatal Influence. She sent them packing after taking out all three of them single-handedly. She made Jayne tap out as she trapped her in the armbar, and posed with the Women’s Championship.
