Keith Lee Rejects False Report On AEW Shows
Keith Lee has addressed reports on his attendance at recent AEW events.
In December 2023, Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland’s rivalry was cut short ahead of an anticipated showdown at Worlds End. The bout was called off hours before the event, with Lee revealing that he’d been working through an injury for well over a year. He was instead replaced by Dustin Rhodes at the pay-per-view.
After months of silence on his status, it was recently reported that Keith Lee was spotted backstage at Dynamite on February 5th in Athens. Georgia. However, the Limitless One has now taken to social media to clarify things. Lee says he did not attend that show, but he was backstage at both Dynamite and Collison when the company rolled into Texas last week.
“For the record…. this isn’t true.
I was at Collision in Houston. But I was at the Dynamite in Austin briefly.
I do live in Texas after all.
Good day.”

Keith Lee Underwent Double Surgeries During AEW Absence
Back in January 2024, Keith Lee announced that he was set to undergo “double surgeries”, noting that he had been able to avoid going under the knife for 19 years. While the nature of the surgeries is unknown, Lee still hasn’t returned to action and updates have been few and far between.
However, in October, the star posted a cryptic message thanking fans for their support before saying that “the time will come,” implying he still intends to return to the ring once he is able.
