Keith Lee Is Not Done Despite Extended AEW Absence
Keith Lee has been missing from AEW for almost one year and now the star has vowed that he is not done as he looks to fight back.
Ahead of AEW Worlds End in December 2023, Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee looked set to resume their rivalry, however, the match was called off at the eleventh hour. Just hours before the event, Lee revealed that he’d been working through an injury for well over a year, and he was replaced in the match by Dustin Rhodes.
Keith Lee soon confirmed he’d be undergoing double surgeries but the exact nature of his condition has been kept under wraps. Worryingly a recent report confirmed that Keith Lee is still not cleared for a return to the ring.
Keith Lee Says “The Time Will Come”
Now Lee has taken to social media to send a somewhat cryptic message but indicated that he’s still not done with his career as he thanks fans for their continued support:
I certainly don’t see them all, but I have seen many. I must take the time to say thank you. And I must take the time to tell you…. we are not done. Hang in there, just like I am. Whatever it is…. the time will come. Let’s move forward. Oh. And don’t forget to go vote.

Keith Lee debuted in AEW in February 2022 after a spell with WWE. A month later, Lee began teaming with Swerve Strickland and the pair went on to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
However, after losing the gold, Lee refused to turn to the dark side with Strickland, and he was attacked by his former friend, having a cinder block broken over his chest for good measure.
