Keith Lee Confident He’ll Return To Wrestling

Keith Lee

Keith Lee isn’t sure when he’ll be back in the ring.

Ahead of AEW Worlds End in December 2023, Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee looked set to resume their rivalry, however, the match was called off at the eleventh hour. Just hours before the event, Lee revealed that he’d been working through an injury for well over a year, and he was replaced in the match by Dustin Rhodes.

Lee later said he was undergoing “double surgeries” but declined to give any further details.

The former AEW World Tag Team Champion confirmed he visited a taping in early 2025, but this was because it was held close to where he lives.

Keith Lee Determined To Make In-Ring Comeback

Following Double or Nothing, a fan wished Lee well on social media, writing that they hoped he’s in good health and able to return to the ring in the future.

In response, the star thanked the fan for their concern before adding that he’s confident he’ll wrestle again, even if he doesn’t know where or when.

You have my appreciation. I am quite well! Only time will tell when or where, but I am confident that time will come. Have patience my friend. Lead with Love. Be well.

Meanwhile, it’s been reported that several AEW stars are banged up following Double or Nothing. The report noted that a number of stars are waiting to be cleared ahead of Dynamite on May 28, with The Young Bucks among those hurting.

However, despite concern from fans, Will Ospreay and Jamie Hayter are believed to be fine.
