Karrion Kross Charging “Very High Price” Tag As WWE Confusion Continues

Karrion Kross WWE Stare

Uncertainty continues to surround Karrion Kross.

After weeks and months of speculation, it was finally confirmed on August 10 that Karrion Kross and Scarlett had left WWE. Throughout 2025, the couple had enjoyed a remarkable spike in popularity, but despite that, they now find themselves free agents.

Or do they?

Kross has become well-known for blending fact and fiction, and WWE’s recent handling of Seth Rollins’ “knee injury” storyline means that fans don’t know what to believe. The company is only two months removed from R-Truth leaving the company, only to be brought back a week later. At the time, Triple H claimed this was “all part of the show.”

However, Karrion Kross has remained adamant that he has left WWE, and the situation isn’t part of a storyline.

Wrestling Figures Unsure On Karrion Kross

Despite Kross’s protestations that his and Scarlett’s departures are legitimate, it seems that not everyone is convinced.

As noted by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, one person on the independent scene stated that they “weren’t buying any of this.” This same person also said that Kross and Scarlett are “charging a very high price tag” for appearances.

Kross has stated that, regardless of his current situation, he remains hopeful of a return to WWE.

In the days after leaving the company, Karrion Kross confirmed that he was offered a new contract, but this offer was quickly rescinded. He explained that when he asked to see analytics to see how the company came to its offer, he was told he had 24 hours to sign the contract or it would be withdrawn.

The following day, when he said he couldn’t sign without the information he requested, the deal was taken off the table.
