Karrion Kross Responds To “We Want Kross” Chants On WWE SmackDown

Karrion Kross

Karrion Kross heard the chants from the WWE Universe.

It has been less than a week since the WWE contracts of Karrion Kross and his wife, Scarlett, expired on August 10th, yet the fans aren’t letting it go.

After his contract with WWE expired, Karrion Kross confirmed that he was offered a new contract, but this offer was quickly rescinded after he wanted more information about the contract and was given only 24 hours to sign a new deal. Apparently, Scarlett wasn’t offered a new deal to remain in the company.

Even though Kross was a heel character during most of his run in WWE, the fans took a liking to him due to his promo ability and the way he portrayed a character who liked to play mind games with his fellow WWE superstars.

There were multiple instances during the WWE SmackDown broadcast in Boston where the fans were chanting “We Want Kross.” Early in the show, as Karrion’s former rival Sami Zayn did a promo in the ring with Solo Sikoa, the fans were chanting, “We Want Kross.”

Writing on X/Twitter, Karrion Kross (who has gone back to his Killer Kross name) noted that he heard the fans: “I hear you.”

Karrion Kross Would Be Open To WWE Return

Since officially leaving WWE, many people are questioning if Karrion Kross and Scarlett are really gone, or if it’s a storyline.

It has been reported that Kross and Scarlett are charging a “very high price tag” to appear at conventions and wrestling shows.

Despite everything that has happened, Karrion Kross has made it clear that he would go back to WWE if the situation were right.

“I would prefer to go back home with my wife and let’s give people what they want. Home meaning WWE. Despite the fact it’s been frustrating, I still want to go back.”

“I have so many great core memories of being there, even amongst all that other stuff. It pales in comparison to the relationships and friendships I have, not just with people in the locker room but with the supporting staff.”

When WWE chose not to re-sign R-Truth to a new deal, fans chanted his name again, so maybe if they keep doing it for Kross, he’ll be brought back someday, too.
