Karrion Kross Open To WWE Return, But With A Twist

Karrion Kross recently discussed the possibility of returning to the Stamford-based company.

He left the promotion on August 10 along with his wife, Scarlett, after both their contracts expired and they failed to reach an agreement about renewal.

Since then, Kross has been outspoken about the chain of events amid their negotiations until their last day.

The 40-year-old claimed that WWE executives offered him a last-minute deal, but were reluctant to extend his wife’s contract. Scarlett, on the other hand, claimed that they used her as leverage to get him to re-sign.

By this time, the couple had gained an immense following from fans. Their exit from the company was confirmed after their profiles on the website were moved to the alumni page.

Since then, Kross and Scarlett have made the independent circuit their home, appearing in promotions like Major League Wrestling, House of Glory, Awesome Championship Wrestling, and Game Changer Wrestling.

Even Scarlett has competed in a handful of matches, remaining undefeated.

Karrion Kross Discusses Potential Return With WWE

Karrion Kross and Scarlett’s return to WWE is not an easy one.

Judging by the revelations made by the former NXT Champion, the two parties did not part ways amicably.

While recently speaking to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, the topic of his return to AAA came up. The problem? AAA falls under the WWE umbrella.

Kross admitted that coming back to AAA Lucha Libre would not be easy, considering it is overseen by the Stamford promotion’s officials.

However, he spoke about being on good terms with Konnan, who serves on the AAA creative team, and if there was a way back, it would be through him.

Yeah, so Konnan—for anybody who doesn’t know—was like an uncle to me. And I’m in constant contact with him. Always have been, always will be. And we’ve had discussions about potentially doing something, but there’s a new chain of command that has to go through.

And I know that he would be interested to have us there, but that would probably depend on a lot of things in that place. So I told him, ‘Yeah, just keep me posted. Let me know. I’m always up to work with him in any capacity whatsoever. I trust him with my life. [H/T: Ringside News]
