Karrion Kross Hits Out At “Fabricated” Articles About WWE Status
Karrion Kross has admitted that he finds the constant speculation about his WWE status amusing.
Throughout 2025, Karrion Kross has experienced a huge growth in popularity, but that’s yet to translate into a significant rise up the card.
This led to a report that claimed Karrion Kross is reluctant to take flat back bumps, and it’s something several wrestlers have picked up on going back to his time in NXT. As a result, people believe that this is why he won’t ever reach the upper levels of WWE.
However, this report was quickly debunked, with several WWE producers denying that this is the case.
Karrion Kross Laughs Off Speculation
During a new interview with The National, Kross was asked about the speculation that has surrounded him in recent weeks, including the claims that he refuses to take flat back bumps. To say that he isn’t taking it seriously would be an understatement.
“I thought out of all the crazy articles that are fabricated about me every week, that was the weakest,” he says, laughing. “There was another wild one I saw last week that was even funnier. It said something like, ‘Karrion Kross is going to come to Monday Night Raw and he’s going to quit and do a shoot promo live, and then walk out.’ I thought that was a good one.
But I don’t really respond to any of them. There’s a crazy one about me every week or two. You just kind of have to laugh.”
Karrion Kross will be back in action at Night of Champions, where he’ll meet Sami Zayn. Despite his ever-increasing popularity, Kross has wrestled just twice on the main roster in 2025, although in recent weeks, he’s become a regular on Main Event.
