Karrion Kross’ First Opponent Post-WWE Announced
Karrion Kross has left WWE, and now his first opponent since leaving the company has been confirmed.
Karrion Kross and Scarlett’s WWE exits have seemingly been confirmed by the company. Kross has explained how disappointed he was with contract talks between him and WWE before his exit.
WWE apparently withdrew its offer to Kross after he questioned how they had arrived at the amount they were offering to pay him. But all of this has taken place against a backdrop of uncertainty over what the truth of the situation really is.
Reports suggest many in WWE still expect Kross and Scarlett to end up returning to the company, although suggestions that the whole thing has been a work have since calmed down.
Kross has now shown he’s serious about moving on, as he’s been announced for his first match since leaving WWE for the second time.
Karrion Kross Getting Back In The Ring
Kross will take on Richard Holliday at WrestlePro on September 21 at Killer Smokeshow, but he’ll also be part of another match before then on September 19 for DEFY, although no opponent has been revealed for that show. Unless anything is added to his diary between then and now, DEFY would be Kross’s first non-WWE match since July 2022, when he took on Davey Boy Smith Jr. on the card for Ric Flair’s last match.

Karrion Kross – under his Killer Kross moniker – has previously wrestled just twice in DEFY, with the most recent of those bouts coming in January 2020. Kross picked up a win in 2022 over Richard Holliday in the only match to date between the two stars.
