Kane Names The US President He’d Launch Off Hell In A Cell

US Presidents

The Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee is no stranger to Hell In A Cell, and now WWE Hall Of Famer Kane has named the US President he’d be happy to throw off the demonic structure.

Best known these days by his government name of Glenn Jacobs, The Big Red Machine brought his worlds of professional wrestling and politics crashing together in an appearance on The Babylon Bee podcast.

Kane famously made his debut in what was then the WWF during the first-ever Hell In A Cell match, handing a victory to Shawn Michaels after he dropped his estranged brother The Undertaker with a Tombstone.

While Kane says there are a few candidates to be thrown off the Cell much like Mick Foley in 1998, there is one name at the top of his list:

“Quite a few, actually, probably the number one would be LBJ [Lyndon B. Johnson] because he ramped up the Vietnam War and The Great Society. So he was the worst and then there were others that were not great, all the really bad. But when we look at the double whammy of the warfare state and the welfare state, I think he’s the epitome of that and we’re still dealing with that. He was a big guy too, that actually might be a pretty good match.”

As for which US President The Big Red Machine would want to team up, there is only one choice for Kane:

“It would be me and George Washington. Well, if you’re saying I’m part of the tag team, it would be me and George Washington because you know, we could look at criticisms of Washington and, um, you know, certainly many of those ballots. Um, but frankly the country just wouldn’t be here if it hadn’t been for George Washington. He was the most important and the greatest person in American history.”

Kane’s last appearance in a WWE ring came at the 2021 Royal Rumble when he took part in the men’s Rumble match. In April he was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame alongside Rob Van Dam, Eric Bischoff, Molly Holly, The Great Khali, and Ozzy Osbourne.
