Kairi Sane Comments on WWE Departure, WWE Sends Their Best Wishes to Her
Kairi Sane is officially gone from WWE…at least for now. There were reports a few weeks ago that Sane was leaving WWE when her contract expired this month and it’s true. Sane was married back in February and wants to live in Japan with her husband. It’s possible that she could appear for WWE in the future, but a lot of things about the future are unknown right now due to the global pandemic.
This week’s Raw was taped last Monday, so that was Sane’s last day. On Raw last night, Sane was beaten up by Bayley in the backstage area and that was Sane’s last appearance.
Here’s part of what WWE wrote about Sane in a post on their website last night:
Sane joined WWE in 2017, winning the inaugural Mae Young Classic. Along with the hearts of the WWE Universe, she would go on to capture the NXT Women’s Championship and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Asuka.
WWE sends its best wishes to Kairi Sane as she sets sail on her next voyage!
Sane sent out two tweets last night after Raw thanking WWE and the fans.
My time in the NXT & WWE locker rooms was incredible. Everyone was kind, funny, & talented, so every day was full of happiness. Also, I was saved by the supportive staff behind the scenes. I will forever love & respect all these professionals I had the pleasure of working with.🍀

I was able to accomplish so much in the last three years, but it wasn’t because of my ability or my strength. It was because of all of the constant, warm support from the fans. I am so thankful I could meet you all.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,

I’m a fan of Kairi Sane especially when she was a babyface. The Insane Elbow will forever be one of my favorite finishing moves in WWE. It really made her stand out too.
Best wishes to Kairi Sane with her husband in Japan. It’s understandable that she would want to move back home and I wish her well going forward.
