Member Of The Judgment Day Sees WWE Powerhouse As A Good Fit
A WWE NXT wrestler has caught the eye of The Judgment Day as a potential future group member.
The second iteration of The Judgment Day features the current WWE World Tag Team Champions Finn Balor & JD McDonagh along with Women’s World Champion Liv Morgon, her boyfriend Dominik Mysterio, and the veteran former multiple-time champion Carlito. There is also Raquel Rodriguez, who is an ally of Morgan, but she hasn’t officially been announced as a member of the group.
While some might say the group is not as strong as it used to be without the presence of Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, they remain a united force on the WWE Raw brand.
It’s also possible that the group could grow soon. That’s something JD McDonagh addressed during a WWE – Die Woche Instagram Live session when asked if there anybody in the company who could be a member of the group.
“We need a badass (for an additional Judgment Day member in WarGames). Maybe Oba Femi from NXT. Someone out of left field. Yeah. Somebody big. A big enforcer. I’d take him… He’s got swag, he’s got confidence, he can throw people around. I think he’d fit in. I’d take him… I wonder would he look good in purple?”
What Has Oba Femi Done In His WWE Career?
Oba Femi has had a breakout year in 2024. On the second episode of WWE NXT TV in 2024 on January 9th, Femi cashed in his NXT Breakout Tournament Winner contract on Dragon Lee and became the NXT North American Champion.
The NXT North American Title reign by Femi lasted a record-breaking 272 days before losing to Tony D’Angelo on the October 8th episode of NXT. At Halloween Havoc, Femi failed to win the title back from D’Angelo and will likely move on to other things.
Whether Femi joins The Judgment Day in the future is unknown, but he certainly fits the mold of an enforcer and a superstar with a bright future.
