Jordynne Grace Recalls Contract Talks With WWE

Jordynne Grace entrance on WWE NXT

Jordynne Grace has confirmed she has previously held talks with WWE.

At Battleground, Jordynne Grace will challenge Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Title. If Grace wins, she’ll head back to TNA as both the NXT and Knockouts Champion.

The star is no stranger to WWE having made an impressive cameo at the Royal Rumble, again, while she was under contract with TNA.

Meanwhile, there’s been speculation Grace could defend her Knockouts Title against a WWE star at Against All Odds.

Grace is highly thought of within the industry so it’s no surprise that she’s been linked with a move to WWE on multiple occasions in the past. But despite the speculation and reported interest no deal has ever been done.

Jordynne Grace Confirms WWE Talks

In an interview with McKenzie Mitchell, Grace confirmed she’d spoken with WWE “a few times” in the past, but it was never the right time to leave TNA. She added that being contracted to TNA and getting to work with WWE is the “best of both worlds.”

I really truly think it’s been about timing. There’s been a few times when my contract has been coming up and I’ve talked to WWE and I kept staying at TNA because it’s where I was comfortable and I didn’t know how WWE was gonna treat me.

So, it’s just kind of crazy to me that it wasn’t the time then but it’s the time now and now I get the best of both worlds. Everything works out exactly the way it’s supposed to.

Despite the talks and her current WWE crossover, Grace remains under contract with TNA Wrestling.
