Jon Moxley Returns To AEW With Surprise New Partner

Jon Moxley AEW

Jon Moxley has made his long-awaited return to AEW but he has not come alone as he sends a chilling warning to the rest of the company.

The last time AEW fans had seen Jon Moxley was back at Forbidden Door in June where he lost the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship to NJPW star Tetsuya Naito. But that all changed on Dynamite in Champaign, Illinois.

Jon Moxley returned with a freshly shaved head and a worrying new attitude as he asked for a conversation with one AEW star who wasn’t present on the show, calling out Darby Allin. Allin lost in his quest to become TNT Champion at All In as Jack Perry defeated him in a Coffin Match.

Perhaps more tellingly, Moxley returned to Tony Schiavone who had been conducting the interview with the former AEW World Champion to send the chilling message “This is not your company anymore.”

Jon Moxley Finds The Problem

Later in the show, Jon Moxley was followed backstage by a camera as a voice off-screen asked him for an explanation. Moxley set up security for a fight but instead of him taking them out, he left it to Marina Shafir who levelled three security guards as Moxley told them it was time for a “lesson in humility.”

Jon Moxley has long been part of the Blackpool Combat Club in AEW and it was a good night for his teammates at All In as Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta teamed with PAC to win the AEW Trios Title while Bryan Danielson won the AEW World Championship for the first time. Whether or not Moxley is going to continue his affiliation with the BCC remains to be seen.
