Jon Moxley Remains Defiant Despite Another Crushing AEW Loss

Jon Moxley

The fight continues, according to Jon Moxley.

In a No Holds Barred Match at Full Gear, Jon Moxley suffered another defeat to Kyle O’Reilly, where he tapped out yet again.

After the match, Moxley briefly nodded his respect to O’Reilly before attacking him yet again. Moxley eventually left with a disgruntled-looking Death Riders faction, while O’Reilly was helped to the back by Roderick Strong and Orange Cassidy.

Jon Moxley Still Standing Tall

In a digital exclusive following the show, Moxley addressed his loss to O’Reilly, and surprisingly, he remains unconcerned. The former World Champion said that while he lost the match, he’s the one still standing as O’Reilly heads to the hospital.

Interestingly, the rest of the Death Riders flanking Moxley appeared much more frustrated with the situation.

“Oh great, camera guy! Perfect. Tell us about how to win matches around here? Tell us about who is the winner and who’s the loser, because I’m still standing! I’m doing just fine right now and Kyle O’Reilly is taking a trip to the hospital tonight, these Conglomeration guys ain’t got no durability.

(Tomohiro) Ishii’s on the shelf, Kyle O’Reilly’s going to the hospital tonight. Darby Allin, ‘Mr Big Hero’ he’s been to the hospital what, like two, three times? Like, does he have a punch card discount at this point? He goes out there tonight, he’s still an amateur, these are your guys, they ain’t real wrestlers.

These guys ain’t real pro wrestlers, none of them, they don’t know what the life’s about, they never lived the life. I was trying to teach him, trying to bring it out of them, trying to reach in and grab it out of them! I thought Kyle O’Reilly had it in him, he was a real pro wrestler at one point, but now he’s one of these guys, one of these wusses, (and) he’s going to the hospital tonight.

It ain’t over, man, the game just keeps on going. Y’all are celebrating. You’re going to celebrate your careers into an early grave. I’ve seen people celebrate this company to near extinction. We ain’t got no time to celebrate, because there’s another fight tomorrow. The battle continues tomorrow. That’s what the life is about man.

Y’all celebrating the regular season. You don’t look too good, it’s a shame because the playoffs (are) about to start.”

During the post-show press conference, Tony Khan said that Kyle O’Reilly would “probably” miss the Continental Classic as a result of the injuries suffered at the hands of Moxley. The tournament is set to begin on November 26.
